Nancy Jane Arnold, 89, of Elizabeth Township, passed away, Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born April 6, 1932 in McKeesport and is the daughter of the late Dave and Nellie (Melegari) Contrella. She was the wife to the late Edgar A. Arnold, who passed away September 20, 1997. She is a long time member of Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church and dedicated a lot of time in the nursery, choir, office and many other aspects of the church and was even a deacon at one point. She was a part of a bowling league and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Her favorite time was spent with family and loved every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy is also known for making delicious homemade bread, that the whole family loved.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Darrell Cassiday) Arnold, of Elizabeth, Pam (Michael) Fournier, of Johnstown, formerly of Elizabeth, and Lisa (Dale) Pungitore, of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Deena (Charles) Headley, Ashley (Greg) Jacob, Danielle Blair, Kelsey (Jared) Havener, Joshua (Katie) Fournier, Rachel (Cameron) Unrath, Luke (Andrea) Fournier, Noah Fournier, and Leah Fournier; and great-grandchildren, Charlee, Bexton, Evie, Charis, Emma, Elijah, Liam, Isla, Eden, and Micah. Friends are welcome Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10am - 12pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
