Frances J. (Tuite) Duffy, age 81, of Brookline, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Walden's View of North Huntingdon. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Pittsburgh Public Schools and a former member of Resurrection Church in Brookline. She was a former Girl Scout leader, AFSCME union representative and Allegheny County Judge of Elections. Born February 28, 1940 in Homestead, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Ophelia (Cawthon) Tuite and wife of the late Joseph John Duffy who passed away February 12, 2013. She was the loving mother of Joseph J. (Cynthia) Duffy, III of Boydton, VA and their children, Sarah (Miguel) Velarde and Megan Duffy; Linda S. Duffy of Tionesta, and her daughter, Heather (Terry) Johnston; Michael P. (Lisa) Duffy of Irwin, and their children, Courtney (Brandon) Nichy, Michael (Brook) Duffy, Julie (Jacob) Cole and the late Kenneth Duffy; and, Daniel J. (Paulette) Duffy of Weirton, WV and their children, Daniel, Christopher, and Aaron; great-grandmother of Maya, Angel, Kamden, Cole, Conner, and Alex; sister of Robert (Marilyn) Tuite of VA and Larry Tuite of PA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Private burial in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Arrangements by the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth.
