John Herbert Leffard, Jr., 91, of McKeesport, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. He was born December 28, 1930 in McKeesport and was the son of the late J. Herbert Leffard, Sr. and the late Corrine (Erickson) Leffard. John was a School Teacher and was retired from the Elizabeth Forward School District. He served in the US Army from 1954-1956 and was a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701 and F & AM Duquesne-McKeesport Lodge. He was a graduate of West Virginia Weslyn College and received his Master of Education from Duquesne University.

He is survived by his daughters, Sue Ann Leffard of McKeesport and Karen Lee Leffard of Morgantown, WV, grandsons, Barret (Aubrie) Morris and Darren (Allison) Morris, great-grandchildren, Andrew and Eli Morris and cousin, Einar Erickson of Mount Pleasant. There is no visitation. Funeral Service followed by Military Honors will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm. The Rev.
