Carol A. Kost, age 67, of White Oak, died March 16, 2022, at AHN Forbes Hospital.  Born September 12, 1954, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Esther (Whitehead) Kost and the loving wife of Robert Holmes for 38 years. 

Carol was a 1976 graduate of Penn State University.  She enjoyed a career as a proposal manager at several international engineering firms.  Carol was a member and the treasurer of the First United Methodist Church of McKeesport and also a member of the bell choir of Monroeville United Methodist Church.  She was an active volunteer and on the board with Meals on Wheels of McKeesport.  Carol enjoyed scrapbooking and attending scrapbook events and meetups on weekends.  Carol cherished her family and was a devoted aunt to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her husband Robert, Carol is survived by sisters, Alison L. (Clark Glymour) Kost, of Shadyside, Laurie K. (Dan) Ratesic, of Monroeville, and Lisa K. (Neal) Nola, of Monroeville; nieces, Holly Glymour, Madelyn Glymour (Melissa Wagner), Kelsey (Benjamin) Wardrop, Abigail (Christopher) Thompson, Carly (Michael) Ferraco, and Heather Holmes; nephews, Joseph "J.R." Nola, Clayton Nola, and Brian Holmes; great-nieces, Reagan Wardrop, Jocelyn Wardrop, Adelaide Ferraco, and Presley Holmes; great-nephews, Christopher "C.J." Thompson, Jr., Cassius Thompson, Orion Holmes, and her beloved dog Sunny. 

Carol was also preceded in death by her sister April L. Kost. 

Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
