Betty Odessa Byrd Fleming, 84 of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, peacefully transitioned September 8, 2016 in West Penn Hospice.

She was born February 2, 1932 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of the late Joshua and Mary Lena Campbell Byrd.  She was the wife of the late William Smith Fleming and also was preceded in death by Daughter Edie Fleming.

She was a loving Homemaker to her husband and children.

Surviving are children, Diane (Joseph) Fleming Hutchinson of Duquesne, Rhonda Wilson of Las Vegas, NV, William Fleming of West Mifflin, Donald Fleming of Upper Marlboro, MD; sister, Josephine Byrd Cager of Wilkinsburg, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the at the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania and Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. at Oasis Ministries, 2017 Pennsylvania Avenue, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania 15122, where service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow inthe Round Hill, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.

Arrangements entrusted to the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., McKeesport, PA.
