Martha D. (Ermakov) Martin, 62, of McKeesport, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was born November 16, 1959 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Archpriest Dimitri H. and Matushka Martha Marie (Sweda) Ermakov. She was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, choir Director for 42 years and also a member of the Balalaika Group and the Folk Dance Group. She had worked for the McKeesport Area School District as a Cafeteria Server for over 15 years.

She is survived by her sons, Joshua J. Martin of Scottdale, Jeremiah J. Martin and Zachariah J. (Oryan M.) Martin of McKeesport, granddaughter, Sophia Z. Martin, sisters, Matushka Larissa D. (Mitred Archpriest Stephen P.) Romanchak of the Villages, FL., and Juliane D. (Protodeacon Stephen) Howanetz of Olyphant, brother, Archpriest Dimitri D. (Matushka Natasha) Ermakov of West Mifflin. and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kyra D. Uziel Ermakov. Friends are welcome Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Hilbert, Director. Panihida Service will be held Wednesday at 7: 30 pm in the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10 am at Dormition of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church. Martha's brother, Archpriest Dimitri D. Ermakov will be officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cemetery, West Mifflin.
