Kathy L. Nolder, age 58, of Port Vue, passed away July 2, 2022, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home. Born May 12, 1964, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Bonnell) Mowery, sister-in-law to Marci Remensnyder, and the wife of Daniel J. Nolder.
Kathy worked for Dollar General as a District Training Manager at various locations until her health would no longer allow her. She was an avid craftswoman and thrift store shopper, enjoyed gardening, hot gluing gingerbread houses together with family, and baking mouth-watering confections items. Kathy fulfilled her adventurous side with trips to the beach, hiking at Hocking Hills, cheering at Pens games, going to concerts, and camping. She loved and adored all animals and left behind her beloved fur baby puppy "Molly," along with her fur baby cats, "Uncle Fester" and "Gomez."

In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by her son, Shaun Nolder of Port Vue; daughter, Kateria (Brandon) Irvine of West Mifflin; grand puppies, Buster and Tonto; siblings, Leonard (Barb) Mowery of McKeesport, Linda (John) Dryburgh of Erie, and Kenneth (the late Tina) Mowery of McKeesport; As well as many
nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Most know, Kathy was a second mom to all her nieces and nephews. Ashley Mowery-Steele (Tim), Katrina (Keith) Venturella, Brittany Mowery, and Nicole Mowery was truly the definition of bonus daughters to her.
Along with her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Herlehy; sister-in-law, Maria Norgren; brother-in-law, Victor "Alan" Nolder; dearest friend and sister-in-law, Tina Mowery. Winnie, her late grand fur baby of 14 years, will also be present to greet her upon arrival. Remember, It's not goodbye, it's I'll see you later.
Family, loved ones, and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on July 8, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on July 9, 2022, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and burials will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
