Albert F. Iera, 79, of West Mifflin, passed peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Born December 30, 1942, in San Mango d'Aquino, Italy, he was the son of the late Theodore Garibaldi Iera and Maria Mastroianni Iera. Mr. Iera was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, and the proprietor of Latina Pizza in West Mifflin since 1967. Beloved husband of Janet L. Larson Iera, he is also survived by his loving children Anthony (Rebecca) Iera and Lisa (Late Gary) Iera, a brother, Leonard Iera and a sister, Carolina Caputo, ten grandchildren, Maxamillion, Luciano, Alexander, Kristian, Quintan, Bella, Delilah, Morgan, Tabitha, and Bjorn, and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Claire Iera.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday July 9, 2022 from 4-8P.M. and Sunday July 10, 2022 from 1-8P.M. in the  William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc. 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. A blessing in the Memorial Home on Monday July 11, 2022 at 11A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, Duquesne at 12 noon with Rev. Nicholas Mastrangelo as celebrant. Entombment will follow in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock Hills.
