Richard A. "Rick" Combetty, 60, of Boston, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022. He was born October 19, 1961 and grew up in East McKeesport. He was the son of the late Albert and Dora (Ainsworth) Combetty. Rick retired from Bechtel Bettis as an HVAC Technician. He was also proprietor of Combetty Heating and Cooling. Rick was a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He was a man of great character and known for his integrity who always put others first. His greatest loves were his family and his dog Rosco. He was an avid Mustang enthusiast who enjoyed attending car shows with his 1991 Mustang. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new restaurants.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Skehan) Combetty and daughter Kalyn Combetty of Robinson, and a large, loving, extended family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Combetty Erickson and brother, Glen Combetty. Friends are welcome Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, July 20. 2022 at 10 am. Interment will follow at the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
