Anna Marie Day, age 77, of McKeesport, died on Thursday, July 28, 2022. She was born in McKeesport, on December 15, 1944, and is the daughter of the late Oliver James and Elizabeth Knopsynder Warman. She is the wife of the late Ronald Burwell and the late Gerald Day. She was employed as a nurse’s aide for many years, loved word puzzles, crossword puzzles, and going on walks with her dog, Cocoa.

She is survived by her children, George Daniel Burwell of Masontown, PA; Diane Renee (Clint) Zupich of Hiller, PA; Jeffrey Scott Burwell of Carmichaels, PA; brother, Roy Paul Warman of McKeesport; grandchildren, Ronald Burwell, III; Bryan Burwell; Jessica Zupich; Samantha (Zac) Zebro; Jennifer Burwell; Daniel Burwell; Ashley (Thaddeus) Thompson; great grandchildren, Travis Burwell; Savanna Zebro; Mason Zebro; Brandon Zebro; Carter Burwell; Rylie Burwell; Colby Burwell; Adelyne Burwell; Keiona Thompson; Ajada Thompson; Micha Thompson; many nieces and nephew; great nieces and nephew; and great-great nieces and nephews.

Anna was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Burwell; granddaughter Kayla Burwell; great-grandson, Hunter; eleven siblings, James Warman; Donald Warman; Beatrice Warman; Robert “Sonny” Warman; Betty Swink; Sonny Warman; Mary Davis; Catherine Warman; Susan Warman; Dorothy Martin; and Chester Warman.

Arrangements were handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Burial will take place in Mount Zion Cemetery in Markleton, PA.
