Gilbert Lebowitz, 80, of White Oak, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022. He was born August 8, 1942 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Morris and Sarah (Klein) Lebowitz. Gilbert was a member of Gemilas Chesed Synagogue and was a retired Production Manager for Zell Brothers in York. 

He is survived by his sister, Joan (Richard) Leighty of White Oak, brother, Allen (the late Betty) Leibowitz of North Miami Beach, FL, nieces, Jennifer (John) Eiben,  Rebecca (Seth) Abrams and Sandy (Scott) Baker, nephews, Fred Zell and Jere Zell, and great-nieces, Sadie, Yael, Maya, and Ella. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Zell. Graveside service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 11 am at the New Gemilas Chesed Cemetery in White Oak.
