Craig Baird Smith, 81, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022. He was born June 30, 1941 in McKeesport, and was the son of the late Homer and Virginia (Derr) Smith. Craig served in the Air Force and was a retired Loan Officer for North Side Deposit Bank, Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Laraine Marie (Ercole) Smith; son, Timothy L. (Darlene) Smith of White Oak; daughter, Sharon S. (Mark) Johnson of Upper St. Clair; brother, Marshall "Marty" L. (Lois) Smith of McKeesport; grandchildren, Kayla M. Smith of Pittsburgh, Jordan L. Yuhas of Elizabeth, Isaac C. Smith of Pleasant Hills, Meghan L. Johnson of Oakland, and Hannah J. Smith of White Oak; sister-in-law, Mary Smith of Steubenville, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, H. Wayne Smith.

Friends are welcome Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 10 am. with Craig's brother, Pastor Marty Smith, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
