Joseph A. Miele, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 20, 1939 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Steven and Catherine (Angelini) Miele. Joe was a 1956 graduate of Westinghouse High School and went on to work for 32 years as a High Bay Crane Operator at US Steel Edgar Thompson Plant, where he retired from in 2002. He was baptized in 1971 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Trafford. Joe enjoyed working on many projects in his garage and always maintained spotless vehicles. He enjoyed talking to people about what he had learned from the bible and took great comfort in the promise of a future where pain and death will be no more. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane L. (McHenry) Miele; daughter, Lori (Greg) Kourniotis of North Irwin; son, Joey (Laurie) Miele of Forest Hills; grandchildren, Joshua, Timothy and Megan; his faithful companion, FiFi, the bombay cat; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Miele. There is no visitation. Memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
