Dolores Irene Waskowitz, 92, and a lifetime resident of Port Vue, died Sunday, August 28, 2022, under hospice care at Overlook Green Senior Living in Whitehall, PA.
Born March 11, 1930, in Port Vue, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pearl V (Klaja) Dudik, and was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John V. Waskowitz.
Meticulous in every detail, Dolores took pride in decorating her home. She loved tending to her roses, reading historical biographies, collecting antiques, and frequent driving trips with her husband to the Laurel Highlands and other scenic destinations.

She is remembered and survived by her children, Vikki (Rick) Zeleznik of Stafford, VA, Richard (Alice) of Jeannette, and Michael of Port Vue; grandchildren; Rick Zeleznik (Trish), Jason Zeleznik (Sarah), Caz Waskowicz (Karen), Talia Burkarth (Dillon), Alex Waskowitz, Emily Waskowitz, Victoria Waskowitz, and Madison Waskowitz; great-great-grandsons, Nicholas and Thomas Zeleznik, and Ronnie Waskowitz; daughter-in-law, Judy Waskowicz, and sister, Linda Dudik of San Marcos, CA.
Dolores was preceded in death by her eldest son, John; brother, Donald Dudik; and sister, Dorothy “Cookie” Marote.
