Ronald Henry Ziegler, 83, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at home. He was born October 13, 1938 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Henry V. and Margaret (Heidish) Ziegler. Ronald was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Township and was retired from Bombardier in West Mifflin. He was a US Army Veteran. Ronald loved cars, woodworking and traveling. He was a perfectionist at everything he did.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara E. (Bobuk) Ziegler, daughter, Laurie A. (Tony) Pietrzyk of North Huntingdon, son, Brian R. (Terry) Ziegler of Moon, brothers, Robert Ziegler of Cranberry Township, James (Kathy) Ziegler of Jefferson Hills and Thomas (Sue) Ziegler of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Anthony and Abigail Pietrzyk, and Allison and Ethan Ziegler, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Liz Ziegler. Friends are welcome from Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2-6 pm, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
