Jay Patrick Null, 60, of McKeesport, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 after a courageous battle with ALS. He was born December 4, 1961 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Robert M. Null, Sr., and the late Mary M. (Madden) Null. Jay was a member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish- St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township and was also a member of the church choir. Jay was a 1979 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and his MBA from Waynesburg University. He was a Senior Marketing Engineer for Westinghouse. Jay was a very kind, compassionate man who cared very deeply for his family, friends and neighbors. He loved dogs, gardening, and was an excellent cook and baker.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert M. (Millie) Null, Jr., of Mount Vernon, Mark B. (Lyn) Null of Penn Township, and Anthony (Michele) Null of Plum, sister, Shelly (Mark) Henderson of Mount Vernon, nieces, Caitlyn and Victoria Null, nephews, Dane and Patrick Henderson and long time companion, Susan M. Howard. Friends are welcome Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Monday, October 3, 2022 1-6 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Thomas Wagner will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
