Richard J. Love, 71, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, September, 30, 2022 at home. He was born October 4, 1950 a son of the late William and Katherine (O'Conner) Love. Prior to his retirement, Richard was an operating engineer for Local 66 and attended First Evangelical Free Church, McKeesport. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting, was a model train enthusiast and loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Leo. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lori (Nindle) Love; daughters, Katie Grubbs and her husband, Robert, Jamie Stone; brother, Ronald (Vivian) Love; sister, Kathy (John) Wheeler; Papa to, Jaelyn, Jakob and Emry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
