Matthew David Whittington, age 28, of Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at home. Born January 27, 1994 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Roger F. Whittington of Front Royal, VA and the late Kathryn Vyolet “Kitty” (Jewell) Whittington. An avid bowler, Matt was a member of the AMF Bowling League in Rostraver Township. He is survived by his wife, Maranda Hill-Johnson; two daughters, Abby and Raelynn Whittington; son, Austin Hill; brother, Timothy (Lindsey) Whittington of Forward Township; nieces, Hallie and Hadley Whittington; four brothers in-law, Edward and Gene Davis, both of the State of Washington, Andrew Davis and Thomas Frye, both of South Park. Matt is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Lee Whittington. No visitation or services are planned.
