Mary Ellen Billick, age 88, of Forward Twp., passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. She was a member of Round Hill Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Twp. and a former Avon representative.

Born December 28, 1927, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Annie (Collison) Heil. She was the loving wife of the late John S. "Buv" Billick Sr.; loving mother of Lu Ann (Daniel) Sullivan of Ashland, OH, and John S. (Darlene) Billick Jr. of South Park; loving grandmother of Shannon, Kelly and Ryan Sullivan, Jeremy (Jackie) Billick, Brian (Brittany) Abbey, and Scott Abbey; loving great-grandmother of Lucas Billick and Bryson Abbey; special friend, John Karloski; also, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth, on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016, at 10 AM in Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David L. Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O.
