Tonya L. Ayers, age 46, of McKeesport, went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2022, at home, after a year of hospitalizations and surgeries. Born July 25, 1976, in McKeesport was the beautiful daughter of Linda Ziino and the late James R. Ayers.
Tonya was a caring, compassionate and gentle person. Her favorite thing to do was to cook and feed anyone. Tonya was an avid cat lover and Pittsburgh Steeler fan; she will be greatly missed by many. She worked as a waitress and bartender for many local businesses. Tonya was very much a people person; she recently started making flower arrangements for everyone she knew.

In addition to her mother, Linda Ziino, she is survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
Tonya was also preceded in death by her sister, Tracie Ayers.
There will be no visitation, but there will be a memorial service at Highland Grove United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 2 p.m.
