Rev. Roy A. Kelly, age 84, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was a minister at the former Elizabeth Wesleyan Church for 40 years. He volunteered at the local food bank and Boston Trail, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born September 5, 1938 in West Newton, he was a son of the late Ernest "Art" and Mary (Hodge) Kelly and husband of the late Ruth M. (McClain) Kelly. He is survived by sons, David Kelly of Boston, Dennis (Cheryl) Kelly of Morrisdale and Patrick (Linda) Kelly of Macungie; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter, Pamela Kelly. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1 PM in Elizabeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Bowers officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
