Bernard "Bernie" Douglas Chizmar, 73, of Lincoln Borough, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. He was born January 25, 1949 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Stephen and Ellen Elizabeth (Murphy) Chizmar. He was the husband of the late Lorraine "Lolly" (Esack) Chizmar who passed away June 3, 2014. Bernie worked for Bankers Rigging, CPI, and the former US Steel National Tube Works. He was a member of the Steelworkers Local 5852.

He is survived by his children, Jamie (Kerwin) O'Rourke of White Oak, Adam Chizmar of Liberty Borough, Erin (Ryan Martin) Schlessinger of Belle Vernon, and Danielle (finacee, Mark Upperman) Chizmar of Port Vue, grandchildren, Audrey (Josh), Ava, Ally, Max, Olivia, Hailey, and Emily, sister, Janice (Paul) Dunn of Philadelphia, brother, Thomas (Veronica) Chizmar of MA, life long friend, "Aunt" Beverly Tull of Lincoln, nieces, nephews, and his dog, Diamond and cat, Vixon. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol (Ron) Chutorich. Friends are welcome Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 3-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.,6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
