Darlene Vivian Jacko, 56, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was born December 4, 1965 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Michael and Vivian (Brinkman) Headings. After High School, Darlene obtained her Associates Degree at CCAC and worked for the Social Security Administration Office as a Claims Supervisor. Darlene loved the beach and their yearly family vacations to Cherry Grove, SC. She enjoyed spending time with family, and loving up on her grandson, Layton.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jeffrey Mark Jacko; daughters, Lindsey (Colin) Lynch of Ross Park Township, and Alyssa Jacko, still at home; grandson, Layton Jeffrey Lynch; her sister, Renee (Gary) Hockey of Apopka, FL; in-laws, Andrew (Lisa) Jacko of Delmont, and Julie (Robert) Diana of McKeesport; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 1-3 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director.
