Carole Dalton, 84, of Elizabeth Township, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at home. She was born August 17, 1932 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Gertrude McDonald Lockard. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Dalton, Sr., who died December 24, 1995. Carole was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township.

She is survived by her sons, Richard T. (Janine) Dalton of Mount Vernon, and John D. (Lisa) Dalton of White Oak, daughter, Margaret "Peggy" (Harry) Morrison of Elizabeth Township, brothers, Thomas (Darlene) Lockard of Sun City, SC, and Paul (Kathy) Lockard of Boca Raton, FL, sister, Jean (Bert) Barnes of Sarasota, FL, sister-in-law, Carol Lynn Lockard of Laquinta, CA, grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda), Erin (fiancée, Jeff), Jared, Adam, Alex and Gary, great-grandchildren, Carly, Gary Jr., Travis and Trent, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. Dalton, Jr., who died March 1, 2012, and her brother, Charles Lockard. Friends are welcome Monday October 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
