Samuel A. Pecora, Jr., 92, of Boston, Elizabeth Township, died Thursday, September 29, 2016. He was born February 21, 1924 in Boston and was the son of the late Samuel A. Pecora, Sr. and the late Helen Firden Pecora. He was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Christy Park and worked for Meadow Gold Dairy, Bell of Pennsylvania, Menzie Dairy Co, Yurechko Auto, and Busy Beaver.
Samuel was a WWII US Army Air Corps Veteran and flew 62 Missions over the South Pacific in a B-25 named "General's Daughter" as a Radioman and Door Gunner. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Gloria J. Ferry Pecora, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Samuel was preceded in death by his sons, Samuel Pecora, III, and John Pecora, and his sister, Dolores Tressler.
