Margaret E. "Margie" Plutko age 99, of White Oak, died February 25, 2023, at Mt Assisi Place Assisted Living. Born December 10, 1923, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Babyak) Plutko.

Margie retired as a secretary with 32 years of experience at US Steel - Irwin Works in the Cost Analysis Department. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School. Margie was a member of Mary, Mother of God, Corpus Christi Church, and a former member of Holy Trinity Church. She was a guest usher and Christian Mothers and Rosary Society member. Margie was blessed with a long, healthy, active, and independent life. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching old movies on TCN. Margie attended Catholic Mass, prayed the rosary, and was devoted to her faith. She adored all her many nieces and nephews and never forgot a birthday. Margie was always a stylish dresser and took great pride in her appearance.
Margie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Linda (Richard) Pylant, Martin Plutko, Robert Plutko, Ray (Sharon) Plutko, Lawrence (Teresa) Plutko, and Ana Bauccio; great-nieces and great-nephews. Riley Pylant, Kristen (Jonathan) Snyder, Matthew (Elisabeth) Plutko, Stephanie (Kevin) McCabe, Bobby Plutko, Greg (Philomena) Plutko, Gary Plutko, Jill Lenzen Plutko, Dana (Jim) Winslow, Kari (Pete) Polusky, Nathan (Therese) Plutko and David (Laura) Plutko; and all their children.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, John (Ethel) Plutko, George (Christine) Plutko, Joseph Plutko, Albert (Marie) Plutko, and Edward (Peggy) Plutko; sisters, Helen and Anna Plutko; nephews, Alan, Ernest, and Glen Plutko; and great-nephews, Darrell and Scott Plutko.
The family would like to thank Mt. Assisi Place administrator Diane Ott, the staff of Marion Hall, and the resident Sisters of St. Francis, who provided exemplary care, friendship, kindness, and immense compassion during our aunt's final days. Also, gratitude to Commonwealth Hospice for their excellent care.
Family and friends may be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mass of Christain Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Vue.
