Henrietta Mary, "Sister" Young, age 79, of McKeesport, died February 26, 2023, at Kane Community Living Center. Born May 30, 1943, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Henrietta (Slim) Ball.
Henrietta dedicated her life to taking care of her home and family. She was a member of the Beacon Light Church of God. Henrietta enjoyed working in her garden, cooking meals for her family, and crocheting. Spending time and playing with her great-grandkids are the moments she cherished.

Henrietta is survived by her sons, Paul (Vivian) Ball Sr., Martin Ball, and Anthony Young; grandchildren, Marvin Jr., Henrietta, Felicia, Mahogany, Nazsar, Rhea, Eddie and Tony Jr.; great-grandchildren, Theron, Jennifer, Dartauhyn, Brendin, Shania, Kayla, Erynn, Alesya, Alona, Camerson, Brandon, Tokyo, and Rhnya; many great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Joe, Howard Ball, and John Slim; sisters, Ethel, Marcia, and Freida.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Young; grandchildren, Paul Ball Jr., Azzie, and Marvaya; siblings, Walter, Henry, and James.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, March 7, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in McKeesport Versailles Cemetery.
