Duane D. Garber, Sr., 73, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Clairton, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born July 20, 1949 in McKeesport, and was son to the late Leo and Eva (Synko) Garber. As a Veteran, Duane served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded medals and other service honors. He worked many years for Clairton Works - US Steel in the Bug Plant.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Steven) Loeffler of North Huntingdon, son, Duane (Shakala) Garber Jr., of Los Angeles, CA, grandchildren, Chloe and Cody Piergrossi, and Lyric Loeffler, and brother, James M. Garber, of West Mifflin. In addition to his parents, Duane has been preceded in death by his brother, Roger L. Stegman, and his lifetime companion, Carole Ross.
