Patricia King, affectionately known as “Nana” of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania transitioned to glory on October 8, 2016 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born December 12, 1950 in McKeesport, PA to the late Henry T. Little, Sr. and Mary Sturdivant-Little. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Little. Patricia accepted Christ at an early age. She was born into Trinity Church of God in Christ in McKeesport. She was educated in the McKeesport Area School District.

Patricia was best known for her skills in the kitchen. She could whip up a meal in no time, making sure she cooked enough to feed everyone in McKeesport. She was a loving caregiver to many, traveling near and far to assist however she could. She had a personality that people adored and a heart of gold. She was also known for her smooth moves on the dance floor. No one could break down into a split like Patty could.

When she wasn’t cooking she loved doing crossword puzzles or watching some of her favorite shows on The Food Network and Investigation Discovery channels.

She has left a mark on many lives in her time spent in McKeesport, Duquesne, Swissvale, North Side, New York, Selinsgrove, and many other places. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, her companion of 37 years Ronald Coward of Duquesne, PA; children; Shawnda Yvette (Timothy) Little-Dreher of McKeesport, Jason Lamont Little of Selinsgrove, PA, Cherie Amour (Mark) Anderson of Greenbelt, MD and Jeffrey Laughton (Kanosha) King, Jr. of McKeesport; sister Barbara Jean Rowland of Verona; brothers, Henry Thomas (Shirley) Little, Jr. and Lafayette (Wendy) Little, both of McKeesport, PA; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at Trinity Church of God in Christ, 2216 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor  Eric Ewell, officiating

Interment will be private.
