Margaret (Peg) Barowich, age 84, of Virginia, formerly of Port Vue, died on October 18, 2016, at Mary Washington Hospice, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Born October 11, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Martha (Hupple) Kurtzrock and the wife of the late Theodore “Teddy” Barowich, who died May 19, 2010.

Margaret was retired after working for many years throughout her life, but her greatest joy was caring for her family.

She was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, Port Vue Senior Citizens Chapter 1571 and more recently a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Fredericksburg.
Margaret is survived by children, Ted R. (Cindy) Barowich of Collier Twp. and Judi E. (Cloyd) Allen of King George, VA; grandsons, Ryan C. Allen and Justin M. (Chelsea) Allen of Fredericksburg, VA.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on October 25, 2016, from 2 p.m. until the time of family reflection at 6 p.m. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery at a later date.
