Theodore "Ted" Richard Sluganski, 63, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of the South Side, passed away Wednesday November 1, 2023. He was born March  18, 1960 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Theodore and Gertrude (Quigley) Sluganski. Ted had worked for UPMC as a Sterile Technician for Central Supply as well as Housekeeping, he was most recently a guard at the Allegheny Courthouse. He loved hunting, fishing and tinkering with guns.

 He is survived by his fiancée Tami Jo Beatty of Elizabeth Township, sister, Linda Donato, nieces, Tammy and Jill, cousin, Gail, friends, Tony and Dee Evans, their children, Arlina and Ted's Goddaughter Lisa, and loving dogs, Wyatt the yellow lab and McKinley the St. Bernard In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Martin, nephew, Paul Martin and dog, Cooper the yellow lab. Friends are welcome Saturday November 4, 2023 from 5-7pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
