Kathleen Anne Webster, age 70, of McKeesport, died at home on December 5, 2023. Born September 2, 1953, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Dolores (Woodworth) Galley and the wife of William Webster, Jr., for 45 yearsShe dedicated many years of her professional life and retired from the Post-Gazette, where she worked in the advertising department.
Kathy's love for recreational activities led her to discover a passion for shuffleboard, a game she both managed and played with great enthusiasm at the Boston Vets Club. Among Kathy's fondest memories were retreats to Clarion County, where she and her loved ones would immerse themselves in nature and with the company of cherished friends. Kathy found solace and relaxation in the serene atmosphere of the camp. In addition to being a member of the Boston Vets Club, she was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the former Versailles American Legion.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a son, William Webster, III; a brother, Lawrence Galley; sisters-in-law, Janet Godwin, Debbie Galley, Kimmy Langley, and Kathy Webster. Kathy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Richard Galley, Victoria Ressler, and baby Joseph. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from noon until the memorial service at 2 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
