Mary C. Bunting Carlson, age 92, of White Oak died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Monroeville. Born August 22, 1931 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Sr. and Pauline (Broadlet) Borrell.

Mary worked for many years as a Realtor, retiring in 1998 from the Realty Company. She enjoyed reading and was a devout Christian that truly loved the Lord. She hosted Bible study for over 14 years in her home and was a life member and former Deaconess of First Evangelical Free Church. Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family.

Survivors include her four daughters, Diane (Kenneth) Morrison of Spotsylvania, VA, Beverly Van Horn of Aldie, VA, Elaine (Thomas) Humenik of Irwin, and Cindy (longtime companion, Michael Katchur) Shaw of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Michael (Danielle) Morrison, Chad (Jenny) Van Horn, Travis (Laura Kaiser) Van Horn, Ryan (Heather) Van Horn, Jeremy (Melissa) Humenik, Christopher (Katie) Humenik, Daniel (Brittany) Humenik, Laney Humenik, Beth (Patrick) Whitney, Amanda (Nick) Jovanovich, Meghan (Brandon) Majkowski; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jaedon, Andie, Evie, Reese, Regan, Reid, Aidan, Hannah, Benjamin, Orion, Freyja, Attie, Emma, Jen, Rachel, Roman, Donovan, Sienna, Christian, Alivia, and one on the way, Remi; Brother, Alfred (Evelyn) Borrelli Jr.; step children, Carol Cottom, Connie (Jeffrey) Meyers, Sherrie Carlson, and Kenneth (Linda) Carlson, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur W. Bunting Jr., and second husband, Jack E. Carlson.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday May 4, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Kirk Albrecht will officiate.
