Kimberly A. (Polefko) Smith, 52, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born in McKeesport on May 11, 1971 and is the daughter of Barbara (Marcin) Bishop, and the late John F. Polefko. After high school, Kim got certifications in Medical Billing & Coding and over the years has worked with many companies. She had such a fun, loving, outgoing personality but also knew how to set you straight. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and being surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Smith, Jr.; her son, CJ (fiancée Shannon) Smith of State College; daughter, Kayla (Andrew) Giannuzzi of Finleyville; grandchildren, Sydney, Bailey, Audrina, Carter, and one more on the way, Elijah. She is also survived by her brother, John (Shauna) Polefko; sister-in-law, Michelle Smith-King; brother-in-law, Mike Smith; a newphew, John Polefko; nieces, Ava and Alana Smith; and numerous cousins and friends.
