He was an Army World War II veteran that went on and worked as a furniture refinisher for over 10 years at Kalabus Furniture in Braddock and then retired after 25 years at the Furniture Galleries in Butler. He also drove travel coaches for Butler Motor Coach for over 20 years and was known for his Atlantic City trips. He was a regular customer at the Dunkin Doughnuts in North Versailles and Murrysville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of over 43 years Margaret Loretta (Woomer) Rudolf; sister Marie Hoover and her husband Richard; brother-in-law Charles “Buddy” Cunningham; and close friend Nancy O’Keefe. He is survived by his children Linda (Gerald) McKinzie of Plum Boro and Kenneth Rudolf of Peters Township; grandchildren Alexander Matthew Rudolf and Jacob Daniel McKinzie; brother Augustine (Mary) Rudolf of East McKeesport; sister Catherine Cunningham of North Huntingdon; Patty Churchill who was as close as his own daughter to him; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083 where everyone will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday for a funeral service with Rev.
