Janet Marie Dishong, age 63, of McKeesport, died November 2, 2024, at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. Born November 30, 1960, in Braddock, she was the daughter of the late John Pindro and Janice (Duff) Lucas.

Janet was an avid bingo player and enjoyed trips to the casino. She also loved to bake and was known for her delicious apple pies. She had a heart of gold and to know her was to love her. Janet loved with all her heart and would give her last penny if she had it.

She is survived by a daughter, Brandi (Jason Costelnik) Dishong; grandchildren, Nathan Copeland and Leanna Dishong; great-grandchildren, Veronica, Emersyn, Adain, and October; siblings, John Varga, Christine Carr, Denise Pindro, Debbie Pindro, and Jenny Pindro; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Pindro; and brother, Craig Richard Pindro.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 3 p.m. until the memorial service at 5 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
