Daneen Gazdich, age 66 of McKeesport died December 20, 2024 at home. Born October 7, 1958 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Jeanette (James) and John Genes, and the wife of 47 years to Theodore "Buck" Gazdich.

Daneen was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1977, and worked for several years as an Optician at Pearle Vision in Olympia, formerly Sears Optical. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs, B-Dog and Little Shih Tzu.

In addition to her husband, Daneen is survived by her son, Robert (Sharon) Gazdich of Christy Park; daughter, Christie (Chad) Polowsky of Little Boston; and nine grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Emma, Mason, Maia, Benjamin, Abigail, Finley, and Allison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jonnette Christner; and her dog, Raven.
