Frankie Lynn Varasse Mossburg, 61, of Port Vue, ,died Friday December 16, 2016. She was born July 13, 1955 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Abigail Mary Campbell Varasse . Frankie was a member of St. Patrick Church in Christy Park, and was also a member and Union Steward of Local 205. She retired from UPMC McKeesport Hospital after 20 years of service.

She loved Do Wop and 50's music. She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Mossburg, sons, Gary L. (Debbie L. ) Mossburg of Chicago, IL, and Damian J. (Teresa) Mossburg of Liberty Borough, sisters, Genevieve V. (William) Janawitz of Canton, GA, and Gayle V. (Larry) Smith of Lake Charles, LA, grandchildren, Ian Michael and Samuel Tyler Mossburg of Chicago, IL, , and Jason L. Stevans and Abigail Rose Mossburg of Liberty Borough, brother-in-law, Jaye Campbell of Elizabeth Township, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary V. Campbell and nephew Glen Campbell. Friends are welcome from Tuesday December 20 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church on Wednesday December 21, at 10:00 am with The Rev. Vincent P. Velas, officiating.
