Elizabeth A "Betty" (Stupar) Jozefov, 97, of Duquesne, died peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2016, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Homestead, October 17, 1919, she was the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Soltis) Stupar. Mrs. Jozefov, was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, past President of Holy Name Women's Guild, former Regent of the Catholic Daughters of America, and worked as a candy maker for the former Gimbel's Department Store, Pittsburgh.
Beloved wife of the late John F. "Moon" Jozefov, she is survived by two loving sons, John Jozefov and Jerry (Janice) Jozefov, both of Duquesne; a brother, Stephen Stupar of Union City, PA; a sister, Margaret Breznai of Munhall. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Andrew, and James Stupar and two sisters, Anna and Mary Stupar.
Family and Friends will be received from 2 - 8pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., Richfrod and Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at 9:30am will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery West Mifflin.
