Marie "Mimi" E. Bricker passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on January 13th, 2026. She was born on March 23rd, 1953 in Greensburg, daughter of the late Orrin Furlong and Dorthlea "Dot" Bach Furlong. Prior to retirement, Marie fulfilled a meaningful career as the owner of several Giant Eagle stores around the Pittsburgh area. She was cherished by her employees and known for her witty sense of humor. In her retirement, she enjoyed painting, traveling to Wheeling Island, and spending time with her dogs, Ginger, Nola, and Angel. Marie and William rescued many dogs together and gave them a loving home. Despite several setbacks to her health, Marie was still strong, hosting frequent dinners and taking care of her family. Her perseverance will continue to inspire everyone who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, William G. Bricker, one son, Greg Bricker (wife Terese and daughter Casey), one daughter, Kristi Collins (husband William and daughter Kayla), and one brother, Orrin "Skip" Furlong. She is also survived by a loving niece and nephew.

Friends and family will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM. A service will take place at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with private interment to follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Marie's name to Best Friends Animal Society, a no-kill shelter nonprofit in Kanab, Utah.
