Seth Connell Wilson, 85, of Elizabeth Township, died Saturday April 8, 2017. He was born March 7, 1932 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Frank and Eva Marie Murphy Wilson. Seth was  a member of the Round Hill Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Township Sportsman's Club, the Cast Bullet Association and the Mon-Yough Carvers. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Iceland during the Korean War. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Seth was a retired Draftsman for US Steel.

He is survived by his wife, Mercedes G. Shultz Stanley Wilson, daughters, Donna Marie (Fred) Jeffcoat of McKeesport, Deborah Gile  and Diana (Donald) Hill of Elizabeth, Step-son, Frank A. Stanley of Indiana, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert A. Wilson and step-children, George Stanley and Gayle Gartley. Friends are welcome Thursday April 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Memorial service will be held Friday April 14 at 11 am in the Round Hill Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Matthew Stith, officiating. (Everyone please meet at Church).  Military Honors will follow.
