George E. Lepsch , 88, of Boston, died Friday April 21, 2017 at home. He was born March 23, 1929 in Greenock, and was the son of the late Charles George and Edna Marie Hendry Lepsch. He was a member of the Boston United Methodist Church, and was the Choir Director there for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Barber Shoppers, the Barbershop Society, and County Line Chorus. He was a retired Crown and Bridge Technician for Dr. Charles Jones' Dentist Office in Versailles and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dorothy L. Kerr Lepsch, son, George W. (Nancy) Lepsch of McKeesport, daughter, Nancy (David) Bash of White Oak, step-sons, John Douglas Jacobs of Morgantown, WV, and Mark A. (Theresa) Jacobs of Boston, step-daughter, Judilynn Jacobs of Boston, brother, Eugene Lepsch of Coulters, grandchildren, Rachel Bash, Amanda (Stewart) Brown, Tyler and Mackenzie Marflak, Andrew, Daniel and Layton Jacobs, great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Brown, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Marion E. Adams and Jean Graham, and brothers, Charles and Galen Lepsch. Friends are welcome Sunday April 23, 2017 from 11-3 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral service will be held in the Boston United Methodist Church on Monday April 24 at 10 am with The Rev. Jack Piper and The Rev. William D. Heaton, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
