Janet L. Stinson, 64, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed this Earth, Saturday, May 6, 2017 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.
She was born October 15, 1952 in McKeesport, daughter of the late James Oscar and Anna Mae Jackson Brownfield. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Autumn Hopkins and siblings, George Brownfield, James Brownfield, Jr., Meredith Brownfield, and Darlene Brownfield Marcus.
She worked as a Welder for GMC in West Mifflin. She was loved by everyone who met her; many, whether related or not, called her, “Nana”.
Survivors include her children, Tina Stinson of McKeesport and Albert Stinson, Jr. of Arlington, TX; brother, William Brownfield of McKeesport; six sisters, Norma Long of McKeesport, Reta Wright of Washington, DC, Elizabeth Harris of McKeesport, Margaret McCullough of McKeesport, Lelia Brownfield of Independent, Missouri, Linda Milton of Washington; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two godchildren, Brooke Harris and Sherry Fennell both of McKeesport, PA; faithful companion, Delbert Bragg of McKeesport, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
Friends will be received Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 4 pm - 8 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut Avenue, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, where services will be held May 11, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Earlene Coleman, officiating.
Interment will follow in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Pennsylvania 15132.
