Evelyn B. Garland Still, 91, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.
She was born August 28, 1925 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Walter and Martha Harding Garland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Raymond A. Still, Sr. and daughter, Gloria Smith. She was the last of 13 siblings.
Evelyn was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and served on the Home & Hospitality Committee. She enjoyed sewing, loved to bake and was proud to have won First Place in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Bake off. She was an employee of Islay’s and White Star Restaurant for many years.
Survivors include children, Rev. Raymond A. (Rev. Deborah) Still, Jr. of Liberty Boro, Larry (Delores) Still of White Oak, Beverly (Albert) Harper-Mockabee, Shirley (Henry, Jr.) Little all of McKeesport; sister-in-law, Lacine Still of McKeesport, 17 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 34 great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
Friends will be received Monday from 4–8 pm at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Earlene Coleman, officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
