Franklin David Sylvester, age 44, of Derry, PA, formerly of McKeesport, died August 5, 2017. Born October 20, 1972, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Shirley Scott Sylvester.

Frank worked as a butcher throughout his life and was currently a factory worker. He enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors. He is survived by his children, Cassidy and friend Domenic Ford, Gwen, Franky and Vinny; sisters, Patty (Stephen) Peterman of Derry, PA and Jennifer Sylvester of Westmoreland County; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Sylvester. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family of Franklin D. Sylvester.
