Helmut Herbert Weber, age 64 of North Huntingdon, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 22, 2017. Born August 2, 1953 in Leipzig, Germany, he was the son of Rolf H. and Margot E. (Geira) Weber, and loving husband of Mary Kay (Smith) Weber for over 19 years. Helmut served in the West German Navy as a Morse Code operator for two years. Following his service, he decided to move to the Pittsburgh area in 1975. He went on to dedicate over 35 years to GE Healthcare as an MRI Field Service Engineer. Helmut was a unique and creative man who was loved by many and will be missed by many. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his children, Catherine Mary Weber of Avon Lake, OH and Christopher Herbert Weber of McMurray; also many in-laws, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Weber and brothers, Juergen and Stephan Weber. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Cancer Research Institute at www.cancerresearch.org.
