Eleanor H. Pearson, age 91 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 in West Penn Hospital.  Born March 19, 1924 in Granville, PA, she was a daughter of Dennis Augustus Hartman and Bessie (Dawson) Hartman Sheets.  A retired secretary at US Steel's Clairton Works, Eleanor was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clairton, its Woman's Organization Circle, and its Tri-C Class.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Rolland Pearson, who passed away August 11, 2009, her son Jeffrey Rolland Pearson, and her brother Dennis Hartman.  She is survived by her son Eric (Carrie) Pearson of Baldwin, her granddaughter Kaitlyn Pearson, her grandson Jacob Pearson, and also nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home's chapel on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Francis L. Trotta officiating.  Procession and burial will follow to Round Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Eleanor's name should be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 N Linden St, Duquesne, PA 15110.
