Marie A. Francetic, age 88 of Versailles, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Family Hospice and Palliative Care in Pittsburgh.  Born November 16, 1927 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Godek) Korap.   A member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in McKeesport and a former volunteer at the Intersection in McKeesport, Marie retired in 1989 from the GC Murphy Warehouse in McKeesport.

She was the wife of the late George Francetic and is survived by sisters Ida Pecora of Delmont and Dolores (James) Hampton of Greenock, and also nieces, nephews, cousins, and her very best friend Walt Snyder. She was predeceased by siblings Ann Kowalski, Stella Tomko, Annette Kucmas, Louise Korap, Helen Korbar, and Harry Korap.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A Blessing will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Vincent Velas officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
