Kathleen Kruczek, age 74, of Versailles Boro, died Dec. 14, 2017, at Jefferson Hospital.

Born Sept. 8, 1943, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late George and Virginia (Bentz) Edgar and the wife of the late William E. Kruczek, Jr.

Kathleen was a member of St. Angela Parish.  She was a former McKeesport Hospital employee and worked in the Dietary Department.  She was a marvelous baker, crafter and gardener.  Kathleen loved animals and always kept pets.  A homemaker, she lived for her family, and being with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.   

Survivors include children, Wendy Grbach of North Versailles, William E. III (Emma) of Liberty Borough and James E. of Versailles; granddaughters, Ashley (Michael) Dennison of Port Vue and Jessica (Thomas) Pollack of Monroeville; sister, Georgiann Kiselnicki of Versailles Boro; nieces and nephews and great nephew, Michael Scott of McKeesport.  Kathleen was preceded in death by sister, Linda (Dale) Gasper, brother-in-law, Bob Kiselnicki and niece, Cathy Specht.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.    A Blessing service will be offered by Father Dominik on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 10:00 am in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to a local pet shelter or the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org, in the name of her beloved husband, William.  Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
