Margaret Dranko, age 95, of Port Vue, died January 19, 2018, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center.

Margaret Dranko, age 95, of Port Vue, died January 19, 2018, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center. Born September 7, 1922, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anne Cholock and the wife of the late Andrew “Red” Dranko, for over 56 years. Margaret dedicated her life to caring for her family and her home. She was a member of St. Mark Parish. She had a passion for gardening and tending to her flowers. Margaret also enjoyed singing and she was a great cook and baker. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Jan) Dranko of Liberty Borough, David (Carol) Dranko of North Huntingdon and Dean (Renee) Dranko of North Hills; grandchildren, Brian (Hillary), Christopher (Shelley), Jennifer (Michael) Gibala, Erica (Shawn) Dorsey, Ryan and Rachel; great grandchildren, Zachary, Abigayle, Lily, Addison, Truman, Stella, Roman and Ruby; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by siblings, Pete, Eddie, Paul, Reubin, Mickey, Jack and Annie. Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Monday, January 22, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, 10 a.m., St. Mark Parish, Port Vue worship site.
